Characteristics of Star Signs
Astrology an incredbily fascinating subject. While almost everyone knows his or her star sign, they might not be too familiar with the personal characteristics of star signs. Did you know
that depending on what time of the year you were born, you can potentially act a certain way? You might have specific behaviors or even have a certain appearance that is specific to your star sign? Believe it. :)
It is widely know in the medical community that sunlight (an effect from a celestial object very close to Earth) has an internal effect on humans and animals. It causes humans and animals to wake up when the radiation from the sun hits a certain part of the brain called the SCN (suprachiasmatic nucleus). The SCN regulates much of the normal behaviors that people experience like how long you sleep, how alert you are, and even how physically active you can be! If the light from ONE celestial object can effect you in such a way, why can't Astrology be correct as well?
In some recent scientific studies, scientists are testing the theory that the placement of the moon and how it effects the tides may have an effect on how you act. It has been said that people act weird when there is a full moon for thousands of years, but for some reason scientists feel the need to proove that this is actually true. Both you and I know that this is blatantly obvious when it happens, so why can't the other celestial bodies (stars and constellations) have some sort of impact on how we behave as well? Like what time of the year you were born? What if these behaviors are somehow pre-programmed by an intelligent designer...what most refer to as the God or Goddess? Anything is possible right? Those who take more of an interest in understanding their astrology and how they relate to the universe will gain a great deal of insight into themselves and how the world works.
